We level slabs and sheet floors properly, put down the right underlay (acoustic-rated where strata demands it), leave expansion gaps the manufacturer actually specifies, and finish with scotia or re-fitted skirting — the carpentry detail where floor jobs are usually given away.

Two honest checks come before any quote. First: what's under the carpet — original hardwood worth sanding beats new boards more often than showrooms admit. Second: what the room actually needs — a laundry-adjacent family room wants waterproof hybrid; a formal living room deserves engineered timber; a rental refresh is laminate's home ground. We sell the right floor, not the dearest one.

Measure and samples at your place, a fixed written quote by area with prep itemised, then most homes are done in one to three days — furniture shuffled room by room so you're never fully displaced. Offcuts and old flooring leave with us; spare boards stay with you, labelled, for the day a repair needs one.
